How It Works

CranberryLand houses are designed to make creating a Christmas village simple and enjoyable. Display them as dimensional holiday decorations, add lighting for a warm evening glow, then fold them flat for easy storage once the season is over.

Unfold, Enjoy, Fold and Store

  • Unfold

    Gently unfold the sturdy paperboard house to reveal its dimensional shape.

  • Add the Roof

    Place the separate roof on top, and the illustrated Christmas house is ready to display.

  • Add a Warm Glow

    Small openings allow you to place LED lights inside, illuminating the translucent windows.

  • Fold and Store

    After the holidays, remove the roof, fold the house flat and store it in very little space.

Designed from the Fold Up

Each CranberryLand house begins with the folding mechanism. Liette first develops the structure so the house can unfold into a dimensional display and later fold flat again.

Once the mechanics are perfected, she creates the architecture, characters and decorative details in watercolor. Each house is then assembled and finished by hand using sturdy paperboard.

Bring the Windows to Life

Small openings in each house make it easy to add LED lights inside. Once illuminated, the translucent windows create a warm glow that brings the illustrated rooms, façades and tiny details to life.
